About TEDxYouth

TEDxYouthDay is a series of TEDx events happening all around the world coinciding with Universal Children’s Day in late November. These events are designed to empower and inspire young people.

TEDx events for kids and youth bring together educators, youth organizations and young people for live presentations, activities and storytelling that encourage learning about and experiencing the world in new and different ways. The TEDx format is a perfect medium for engaging and inspiring kids, and to highlight young voices from diverse communities.

Goal: To inspire youth and present their ideas in front of their peers, teachers, classmates family and/or friends during a TEDx style event. The talks will be recorded and uploaded to the TEDx channel on YouTube. A “TEDx style event” is one where talks are presented back-to-back with interruptions only for a break and/or other pre-recorded TED talk showing.
